What's New in Fall Knitwear

SEPTEMBER! This month on the calendar marks the turning over of a new fashion leaf, literally. It's officially sweater season.

While the temps may not be cooperating just yet, I still love a good piece of knitwear, almost more than I love dresses.

From oversized to fitted, cropped to long, I love all of the styles. They're cozy and comfortable and nothing feels better than slipping on a soft knit first thing in the morning.

Most of all, I love the textures of knitwear. Beautiful knit patterns have become my love language. Chunky textures, cable-knits, ribbed-knits. You name it.

So, without further ado, let me present to you -

what's new in knitwear at CRB!

MY CURRENT FAVORITE KNITWEAR FOR FALL

1. A Chocolate Brown Knit

The hottest color for fall 2024! Chocolate brown. This stunning piece of knitwear features a classic pullover style with crew neckline and subtly cropped hem.

Perfect for pairing with your favorite bottoms, everything from denim to trendy maxi skirts. This sweater also has the perfect cut to style over a dress.

You can't go wrong with this beauty, and it comes in a gorgeous beige hue as well (see below!)

2. Chunky Button-Front Cardigan

A nearly perfect transitional piece- cardigans are QUEEN. This cardigan is absolutely no exception. Made of the softest knit, this chunky cardi features a functional button-front and subtly cropped silhouette.

I love that this piece of knitwear works overtime by being able to wear it so many different ways. Wear it buttoned like a shirt, wear it open like a true cardigan, throw over a dress, pair with skirts, denim...the options are nearly endless.

Bonus points awarded to the most perfect shade of navy blue, which is perfect for styling with all of the trendy rich brown shades for fall.

3. Ribbed-Knit Pullover

This knit sweater is the most perfect shade of olive. I love the simplicity of the silhouette combined with little details, like the pre-cuffed sleeves and side slits to make it flow *just right* over the body.

With some wool content for sustainability, this piece of knitwear is a classic wardrobe staple.

4. The PERFECT Neutral Knit

Okay, so this is the same as the chocolate sweater shown above. But it's so perfect, I couldn't *not* include it.

It's the most perfect oatmeal shade you've ever seen. In a pullover design with a subtle crop, this knitwear silhouette can be styled an unlimited number of ways.

With your favorite jeans, skirts - short or long, dresses, again short or long, cut-offs...you name it, it can get the job done.

In a stunning 100% Cotton fabrication with the most stunning texture, I KNOW you'll love this knit as much as I do.

5. The Striped Knit Sweater

Quite possibly the softest thing you'll ever put on your body, this neutral striped sweater is so comfortable and cozy.

With the perfect taupe -brown stripes, this sweater has a fun touch in the form of a light blue detail on the hem and sleeve.

With a lightly oversized silhouette and v-neckline, this amazingly soft sweater is a great knitwear option to dress up or down.

Style with your favorite denim for an easy, instant-outfit, with leather pants, a skirt, or over a dress for a fun look.

More Thoughts for the Perfect Fall Sweater

What's not to love about knitwear?

There are so many varieties to love. From pullovers to v-necks, turtlenecks to sleeveless - I truly love all styles of knitwear.

September is a great time to update your knitwear collection (okay, really any time of year!) but I love the classics listed above for their timelessness.
