About Us

My name is Holly and I started Compass Rose Boutique in 2014, right after my college graduation. I always had dreams of opening a clothing boutique and after college I decided I didn’t want to get older and one day wonder ‘what if…?’ So I took the plunge.

With my degree in Biology and no prior retail, customer service, or business experience, I opened a brick-and-mortar location in my hometown of York, PA. 

I love the way an outfit can change you mood (hopefully for the better!), increase your confidence, and the way you can reflect your personality through everyday style.

And that has become my goal -- to create a collection of clothes that effortlessly pair together, to help you reflect your personal style and of course, add a little joy to your day. 

Think of Compass Rose as your personal capsule collection, but with some extra special pieces sprinkled throughout. Because while I believe we should create a wardrobe of timeless styles that make getting dressed a breeze, it’s also important to have some fun, too.
