Compass Rose Boutique and operate as separate entities and therefore, offer customers unique shopping experiences in both locations. As a result, our return policies are tailored to fit their respective customers.
In Store Return Policy:
Customers who visit our brick-and-mortar location engage in the boutique shopping experience. Personal attention, the ability to try items prior to purchasing, and the overall boutique environment require us to operate with the following return policy:
Compass Rose Boutique accepts unworn, unaltered items with original tags attached and a sales receipt within 14 days of purchase for exchange or store credit. Store credit never expires and can be utilized at any time. Gift cards, earrings, intimates, adhesive bras and all final sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that have been worn, tailored or otherwise altered are not eligible for returns. Compass Rose reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange based on the condition of the item being returned.
Online Return Policy:
Customers who shop through our online store engage in the internet shopping experience that prevents us from offering personal attention our in-store customers appreciate. We understand you are neither able to feel or try on the items purchased until after the process is complete. If for any reason you do not absolutely love your selections, we will gladly issue a refund of online purchases for the value of the merchandise. The return total will be credited back to the method of payment used during checkout, less the cost of shipping and return shipping. Please allow up to 14 business days for Compass Rose to receive and process your return. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Compass Rose is not responsible for packages lost or stolen in transit.

If you believe you have received defective or incorrect merchandise, or are missing an item from your order, please contact us at email@example.com within 3 days of the package’s original delivery.
How to Return & Exchange Merchandise
You can return or exchange your online and in-store purchases at Compass Rose. Simply bring your merchandise to a store near you and we will gladly process your return or exchange. Please don’t forget your original invoice or receipt as we will be unable to process returns and exchanges without it. If you received your item as a gift, simply follow the instructions below and an exchange or merchandise credit will be issued.

A government-issued ID may be required for returns. This is solely for the purpose of preventing return abuse. Compass Rose does not sell any information obtained through this process.
Exchange by Phone:
Call us at (717) 430-2942 to ensure you get the size and color of the item you would like to exchange for. You will be charged for the replacement merchandise. Upon receipt of your return, we will credit you for the returned items minus original shipping and handling fees.
If you would like to use a pre-paid USPS label to return your items, please call (717)430-2942 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and item you are returning and we will email you a pre-paid return label that you can print out and tape to your package.

Securely pack your merchandise, return/exchange form and original invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope and mail the package with the return label fastened to the outside. Once we receive your package, we will issue a refund, less the cost of original shipping and an $6 USPS return shipping fee if a pre-paid label is used. You will receive an email notifying you of the transaction. Please allow 2-4 business days for the refund to be applied to your bank account.
Online Exchange Instructions:
We recommend placing a new order for the item you wish to exchange for to ensure you get the size/color you want. We will ship your new order to you immediately. You can also email email@example.com to assist with your exchange. When returning your items to be exchanged, be sure to include the original order invoice and complete the return/exchange information section. If you have already placed an order for the new item, complete the return section but check exchange and enter your new order number placed for purpose of exchange. Drop it in your mailbox or via your preferred shipping provider. Once we receive your package, we will refund your card for the original purchase. On an exchange, Compass Rose will happily cover the cost of ground shipping your new merchandise to you. We will credit you the $6 shipping charge upon receiving your exchanged merchandise.
If you believe you have received a defective product, Compass Rose will honor an exchange or store credit for the value of your merchandise for up to 8 weeks from the date of purchase.
