As a result, our return policies are tailored to fit their respective customers.

**HOLIDAY RETURNS: All items purchased after 11/22/18 that are eligible for return/exchange must be returned/exchanged by January 7th, 2019. All return policy information below is still applicable and the only change is the window of time in which a return/exchange can occur. Happy shopping!

What is the return policy for online orders?
  • You can return any eligible item within 14 days from the date the package was delivered.
  • You will receive a full refund for the cost of the item(s) to the original form of payment. If returning a gift, you will receive a gift card for the value of the item(s).
  • Original shipping charges will not be refunded unless the return was a result of our error.
What items can be returned?
  • Returns are accepted on all items except gift cards, earrings, intimates, adhesive bras and all final sale items. These items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition (new, unused, unworn, unwashed). Damaged or used items cannot be returned.
  • Compass Rose reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange based on the condition of the item being returned.
How long do I have to return an item?

All returns must be initiated and shipped out (or returned in person to our store) within 14 days from when the item was delivered.

How do I exchange an item?

At this time, due to limited stock we cannot process exchanges for online purchases by mail. We suggest placing a new order for the item you desire and once your return has been processed, your original method of payment will be refunded (minus shipping costs).

You can exchange (or return) your online purchase in-store at Compass Rose. Simply bring your merchandise to our store and we will gladly process your return or exchange. Please don’t forget your original invoice or receipt as we will be unable to process returns and exchanges without it.

How do I start a return?

If you would like to use a pre-paid USPS label to return your items, please click here. You may also email us at shopcompassrose@gmail.com with your order number and item you are returning and we will email you a pre-paid return label that you can print out and tape to your package.

Securely pack your merchandise, return/exchange form and original invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope and mail the package with the return label fastened to the outside. Once we receive your package, we will issue a refund, less the cost of original shipping and an $6 USPS return shipping fee if a pre-paid label is used. You will receive an email notifying you of the transaction. Please allow 2-4 business days for the refund to be applied to your bank account

How do I return a gift?

Returning a gift follows the same instructions as our regular return process. You will receive a gift card for the value of the merchandise, so the original purchaser is not notified.

How will I be refunded?

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used during checkout (*for online orders only*). If returning a gift you will receive a gift card for the value of the merchandise to use in-store at Compass Rose or online at www.shopcompassrose.com.

How does the return policy apply to in-store pickup?

Online orders that request in-store pick-up will have a 3 day window from the day the order is placed to pick it up. Once the 3 day window (defined by average shipping time) has passed, the 14 day return window will commence and you will have 14 days to initiate your return.

What is the in-store return policy?

Customers who visit our brick-and-mortar location engage in the boutique shopping experience. Personal attention, the ability to try items prior to purchasing, and the overall boutique environment require us to operate with the following return policy:

Compass Rose Boutique accepts unworn, unaltered items with original tags attached and a sales receipt within 14 days of purchase for exchange or store credit. Store credit never expires and can be utilized at any time. Gift cards, earrings, intimates, adhesive bras and all final sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that have been worn, tailored or otherwise altered are not eligible for returns. Compass Rose reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange based on the condition of the item being returned.
